About Cedar Grove Farm is located in Peacham, Vermont which has been described as "the most photographed village in New England". Peacham is located in the Northeast Kingdom comprised of Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties, a largely rural area of mountains, rolling farms, forested valleys and spectacular beauty.
Cedar Grove Farm breeds Diamond Jubilee beef cattle, a new breed of beef cow in development since 1995. Our beef operation is a grass fed, natural (no hormones or antibiotics) process. Our goal is to produce a naturally polled, red beef animal with a white belt, angus type carcass characteristics, with good temperament and excellent mothering instincts and good milk production, all on a forage based system. We have achieved this by selectively crossing Dutch Belted, Red Angus, The goal of our Rocky Mountain Horse operation is to preserve and enhance the characteristics of this wonderful, gentle, smooth-gaited breed through limited and selective breeding of exceptional stock. Training starts with imprinting our foals at birth and continues with natural horsemanship methods of ground training, driving, and under saddle training. We enjoy our horses year round through trail riding, driving, and sleigh pulling while simultaneously enjoying the spectacular scenery of our rural village. About | History
